Ladies

Our ladies ministry is one of our strongest ministries, with a group who regularly gets together and encourages one another in the Lord. They have a weekly Sunday School class taught by Peg Lapiska, our pastor’s wife, where they systematically study the Word of God on an in-depth level. They also meet once a month at different locations for a great time of fellowship along with a practical lesson for every day life shared by one of the ladies. In addition to these meetings, they have a weekly Bible study on Tuesday mornings (except for the summer months) and they also get together for occasional Saturday outings.

Men

There are many pressures upon the men in our society today who are trying to live in a way that pleases the Lord. Because of this, one of our men’s ministries is our monthly Men’s Prayer Breakfast. It provides a chance for the men in the church, both young and old, to gather together and learn about the burdens of their fellow church men and pray for them. It’s a great time of encouragement in the Lord. We also have a yearly Men’s Retreat in the fall, and a Father/Son retreat in the spring, that are also always a blessing to those who come.

Senior Saints

Our Seniors group meets together each week for Sunday School before the Sunday morning service, where they are taught by Pastor Perdue. He and his wife Dottie also coordinate a variety of outings including several luncheons and some occasional day trips to different sights and events in the area.  A couple times a year they also participate in a Seniors Day out at nearby Rapidan Baptist Camp, where they enjoy good food and fun activities, and they are challenged from God’s Word.
